Gastronomy on the island Murter and on the Kornati islands

For those who like to eat well, caterers of Murter will make a variety of fish and meat specialities. From simple dishes to rich menus of traditional Mediterranean (Dalmatian) and continental cuisine. For young and old, according to taste and means - hundreds of different meals are being prepared in local kitchens.

If you would like to have food "like mother  used to make it" ask for boiled fish or fish- stew with "polenta" (maize porridge), octopus salad, stewed savory scampi, salt  anchovies, Swiss-chard tops, lentils - all of it  seasoned with top quality olive oil. Of course, a  glass of excellent white or red Dalmatian wine is obligatory!
